4 years before My brother went to mental depression after my mother suicide. He taken medicine from karri ramareddy (psychiatrist) for 2 years but he stopped medicine now. But present he is doing VRA job I observed some minor problems due to usage of English medicine. Now he doesn't show interest to take English medicine. Please tell me, is there any other medication for this problem? Age 36, unmarried.

Dear Lybrate user It's important that along with medicines your brother must take some help from Psychologist. One on one sessions are required. Also try making some lifestyle changes like early morning walk/jogging or Yoga. Trying engage in some hobby. You both brothers can spend some brother time watching movie together or going to some trip together. Hope these solutions will help. Take care.
