Dear lybrateuser, - You should at least have a snack about one hour before gymming as it will keep you sugar level normal & also provide you the extra energy you require while gymming, not consuming any thing will bring down your efficiency & you may feel tired & sleepy after gymming - have yogurt or a glass of low fat milk with a fruit like banana or apple, a sandwich veg/ non - veg, a protein & fruit shake or a boiled egg - after gym you can have your regular breakfast.
