It is very difficult living with a schizophrenic husband especially if he is not cooperative and has frequent breakdowns. If he is functional, that would be a huge blessing. Concerning your daughter, you must remember that she is just been through her teens and will present a lot of problems having to cope with a father who is mentally unstable and a mother who is struggling to cope with her husband. She may have lost a lot of normal parenting and this is her way of expressing her frustration. You need to specially careful with her because she is carrying her father's genes, and her disturbances may precipitate the predisposition in her. In fact, I recommend that you take her for counseling and get some support for her to deal with her situation. The counselor will help you too and give you the necessary guidance to help yourself and your daughter. This is a difficult situation and both of you need help.
