I start getting chest pain after working in the office continuously for more than 2 hours. Apparently the chest pain is due to hyper acidity but it happens only during work. You appear to be having stress-related problems. Do daily walking for at least 15 minutes early morning and before going to bed. Learn and do Yoga exercises daily and regularly. Avoid spicy and oily food. Non-vegetarian food to be avoided. Drugs suppressing acid secretion (proton pump inhibitors) may be of temporary help.

Dear Lybrateuser, -To keep yourself motivated & active take sometime out from your daily schedule for yourself -start your morning with a glass of warm lime water with a teaspoon of honey to kick start your metabolism, have breakfast preferably a combination of a carbohydrate with a protein like egg & whole wheat bread /paratha, yogurt with fresh fruits, milk with oats/ cereals & fresh/ dry fruits, have a mid morning snack, a fruit or a handful of nuts or yogurt, green tea -do regular exerciselike brisk walking, jogging for 15-20 min, also do yoga, deep breathing for 5-10 min in the morning which will keep you alert & active throughout the day -have meals on time, chew your food well do not be in a haste, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, take a short walk after meals for proper digestion, have at least 7-8 glasses of water per day as even mild dehydration will lead to tiredness, lethargy & difficulty in concentration -the most important is try to keep your sleep & awake time fixed, sleep well for 6-8 hrs a night so that you get up fresh the next day, can take a short nap of 20-30 min in day if you are fatigued -take short breaks on the weekend or in between to regenuvate yourself, follow a hobby, socialize with friends as these freshen you up -do steam inhalation for sinus problem, take a multivitamin daily after breakfast.
