Hi rupen der If you didn't counter any problems in 2 years since injury, may be it was partial tear or minimal one which may have healed without residual laxity of knee to give symptoms of weakened knee during movements. So nothing to fear now. No, you won't need arthroscope examination at all, ad of now, neither future need for any knee replacement. Those who had to undergo TKR may have had complete rupture of ACL with association of meniscal injuries leafing to post traumatic osteoarthritis or degeneration of knee joint heralding replacement. Thanks.
