My daughter is 17 yrs old. Some of her milk teeth do not have permanent teeth as per her x ray reports? these milk teeth are having cavities now. Is it possible that permanent teeth will never come in place of those milk teeth? please also advice, if there is any remedy or treatment available.

Please provide opg radiograph or xray reports you have. Sometimes there is absence of permanent tooth bud and because of this milk tooth will not shed off. In this situation if the milk tooth is firm and strong then you can go for filling of those decayed teeth. Or if the milk tooth is grossly decayed then go for the extraction of the affected tooth and replacement (either by bridge or implant) of that.
