Dr. I am 36, male, had an accident 25 days before. My l2 vertebra compressed and Dr. Ggested 40 days bed rest. After ct scaning, spinal canal at l2 is narrow up to 7.6 mm. I do not want to go any surgery. Please give me right solution so that I will work as previous.

If there is no neurological deficit, then surgery can be avoided. Kindly show me a photograph & digital x ray of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If you can visit me in my clinic it will be far better.
