I was suffering from hypokalemic periodic paralysis 2 years before and was admitted for 1 week. Now I am alright. What are the causes for this condition.

hypok PP is usually of genetic origin...also high carbohydrate diet, excessive physical activity followed by rest, can precipitate an attack...sometimes secondary causes like vomiting, diarrhea, renal disease, etc. can lead to hypokalemia and paralysis...
