Doctor. My twin girls are 2.8 years old. They are saying stomach pain before passing motion and sometime in the night also. Both of them are having constipation problem since starting. Very poor eating habit and not taking proper diet even if introduce new and attractive food items. Please advise what could be the reason for stomach pain. Should I do any further test? My paediatrician gave them loose syrup still they are passing motion tight. Please advise.

Analyse the diet given to the babies. If you are giving excessive milk and less solid diet to them, your problem is not going to be solved. Focus on the family diet and that too without forcing them.

only & only Regular Bowel Habits, Fiber Rich diet (introduced multiple Vegetables & Fruits), Avoid Refined Diet. But obviously rightnow your babies need some stool softener to promote regular bowel habits.

Constipation itself can be a cause and give more vegetables and test TSH and inform. MAke them drink lot of water also.
