Sir I am a CKD patient. My uric acid is normal but creatinine and urea is 4.5 and 74 respectively. But I have feet pain. What should I do for feet pain.

Dear lybrate-user, Since you are are having a renal problem it is inadvisable to take any pain medication 1 First we have to identify the cause of the foot pain and also the site of the pain. Mostly foot pain os die to Plantar fasciitis. 2 You can take a x-ray of the foot to rule out any calcaneal spur or bony problem 3 Do a routine ESR nad Vitamin D3 levels also 4 If it is due to Plantar fasciitis local therapy with ultra sound ,contrast bath and footwear modification can be of help 5 Even local injections can be tried 6 Some centres do a foot scan to assess the cause of pain, pressure points sensitive areas and prescribe footwear accordingly 7 Even redu�ong your weight by 2 to 3 kg can relieve the pain if you are overweight.
