Is it possible to have acute gastritis without pain? After drinking, I threw up blood but did not have any pain, just nausea and loss of appetite.

Hi...Most of times ,Gastritis has Severe epigastric Pain with Nausea and Vomitting..Very rare chances of blood in vomitting... In your case Blood with vomitting can be Due To "Oesophageal Varieses".. Go for USg abd and pelvis and Gastroscopy after expert opinion... It may not be simple gastritis. You may have any varice in oesophagus..you should get an endoscopy done.
