Hi lybrate-user, Thanks for writing in. Welcome to the forum! Getting angry on small matters, particularly towards elders can be seen in many adolescents. Whereas sometimes it can be part of 'normal adolescent behavior' very often, it can be a sign of depression. In adolescents, depression often manifests in this form. I think it would be worthwhile to have a proper evaluation done from a mental health expert. But please also understand that you must not view this possibility as that of some kind of a serious 'mental disease' Even if it eventually turns out to be depression, there is nothing to be alarmed about. Treatment if fairly simple and straightforward and often met with excellent results. So don't worry. Just get an evaluation done and have things sorted out. You might want to get a few blood tests like hemogram, TSH and vitamin B12 levels done just to make sure there is no other angle to it. Take care!

Hello patient I think it is a part of your growing up process many times wht happens is tht you have to face many new challenges and new situations outside tht you tend to take out the frustration at home. But let me tell you tht this attitude is not right for u, for your overall growth in the future, and the very fact tht you are concerned abt this and you feel tired shows tht you are urself not accepting this behaviour of urs. So just try to relax a bit, meditation for 10-15 mins in the morning will definitely help you to relax and start your day fresh with full positivity. Take care do not stretch much, its only human to do mistakes but learning frm your mistakes and not repeating them is very important take care.

The more important thing is whether you are unable to control your behaviour or anger outbursts which you rightly disapprove? If you genuinely feel that you somehow have lost control over your behaviour and that makes you feel a bit guilty later on then you might need help with counselling and treatments. That definitely does not make you a crazy or insane person. You are on the verge of forming a personality at your age and corrections and changes in behaviour at this time would certainly help you move on in life with much ease later. Take care

Dear lybrate-user, I understand your concerns. You are experiencing depressive symptoms. Increasing irritability, lethargy, easy fatiguability and low mood are all initial symptoms in depression. You need to undergo serum thyroid level, Vit B12, Vit D3 level test first. Deficiency of above thing also cause such symptoms. Good medicine and psychological therapy are available for your condition. I would advise you to consult psychiatrist. Till then start exercise, listen to loud music, spend time with good friend. All d best.
