I'm a 23 years old girl (55 kg, 5.4 ft). I have been experiencing sudden bursts of very painful breast pain on one of my breasts for the last few days. The pain is inside and feels quite sharp. I almost always feel the pain when I lay improperly or if there is even a bit of impact on it. Somehow it has to do with my movements. Just for the record, I'm currently in India for vacation (I'm originally from EU). The pain started few days after my arrival. Could it be cancer?

Hi, I appreciate you seeking help. It seems like an acute infection. First and foremost, I would advise you to get this clinically examined by an OB/ GYN right away and not delay any further. You may have to undergo the relevant diagnostics, to understand the exact nature of the same, and treatment advised apropos. In general, however, do follow a streamlined diet (preferably Mediterranean) and lifestyle with due emphasis on regular exercise, stress reduction and relaxation. Stay well hydrated. For the time being, should you have any pain, you may apply an alternating heat and cold treatment for couple of minutes that may alleviate the same. Try gently massaging the breast, and avoid those specific body postures in which you experience pain. Your OB/ GYN shall recommend in specific once he/ she gets to examine your case in person. Respected lybrate-user hi it's not cancer. It's fibroadenosis pain just get an Ultrasound breast done and then consult dear.
