Dear doctor, Many doctors said, if one's weight is reduced due to stress or anxiety, HDL cholesterol will reduce and LDL will increase. How does it happen?

Dear Lybrate user. This is a wrong concept. Cholesterol has nothing to do with stress or anxiety. Weight loss could happen due to stress and anxiety and as a general effect, whole cholesterol count could decrease. Take care.
