Hi is there any remedy apart from removal of wisdom teeth. Does wisdom teeth cause pain in jaw line n below the year. N my wisdom teeth grown horizontally. The thing is that am busy with my exam perpetration upto January. Can I postpone it. please give me suggestions.

They have no role in chewing n it's very difficult to maintain hygiene in that region. As you say your teeth is horizontal, you might have to undergo minor surgery. Hey hi lybrate-user, wisdom teeth usually gives you pressure if it is grown in horizontal direction as it impinge on the 7 th molar, surgical extraction you have to undergo that is called impaction, but if you want to delay that thn di warm saline rinses at least 4 times a day ,gum massage over the affected area so that it won't disturb you till the time you get the treatment done. One more thing you have asked that is it complicated or not so let me tell you that it is not complicated as such, it only takes more time, may involve bone cutting than the simple impaction that is in vertical direction, no need to fear about this. Recovery is not a big issues in impaction as if you fallow your dentist instruction everything will be going fine.Â
