Hello respected doctors this is DHANDAPANI from Bangalore I had a heart attack last month it is already 40 days I am taking medicines proscribed by doctors along with ECOSPRIN in the afternoon with lunch three hours after taking this tablet I fell ver discomfort in the chest and get all negative thoughts Dr. says ecosprin is compulsory is there any solution for my problem.

Yes. Ecosprin is compulsory. Try reducing dose. Take it after breakfast. Take it with good antacids. And even if you get the trouble then take a second opinion from another cardiologist.

Ecospirin has the tendency to irritate the stomach, the solution is to take the tablet immediately after taking the food and you need to take medicine like pantaprazole, so discuss with your cardiologist and start the tablet. Good luck.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Ecosprin is a blood thinner & prevents blood from clotting, ask your doctor to change to a 75 mg tablet if your taking one of higher strength.
