Hi, recently I had a blood test done. Mild leucocytosis was detected as the leucocyte level was 11.93. What is the implication of this, what is the reason for this condition? what should I do? regards,

Hi . Mild leukocytosis means that your leukocytes are a little more than usual. This means that your body is trying to fight an infection of some sort or the leukocytes are multiplying uncontrollably. See a physician to evaluate the source of infection and prescribe antibiotics and after a month repeat the counts. If the numbers increase then detailed evaluation from a hematologist will be necessary.
