I started coughing around 12 days ago. After 3 days, I found I little blood in the mucus of the cough. I consulted a doctor and did a xray. It came clean. Today its been 12 days and my cough has not subsided. I have a soar throat and again found little blood in the cough. What should I do? Can it be something serious?

If cough with blood y expectoration persists your blood CBC AEC igE has to be looked and after that the cause can be ascertained so that effective treatment modalities can be discussed.

I don't think it is serious. try some inhalation therapy for cough. the blood may be due to forceful coughing. just wait and watch

It can be viral/bacterial infection. U should take antibiotics with anti allergic and the should review after 7 days.
