I am 82; I am just not able to sleep for more than 5 hrs max a day. This is the case since several years. Would you recommend I take a sleeping pill every night to get the required sleep, as strongly recommended by you?

Sleep is body demand based. At that age 5-6 hrs sleep is sufficient. Have light dinner at 7 pm Don't hit bed directly after dinner No tea, coffee,alcohol.
