I am 56 years of age and having diabetes. I was told that whisky is not good for diabetic patients. But you have suggesting. Which one is correct?

Mr. lybrate-user, I do not know who has suggested whisky is good for diabetes. Alcohol in any form is bad for diabetes. It gives empty calories, does not provide any energy, damages liver, affects awareness of hypoglycemia, affects appetite, damages intestinal mucosa. I am not aware how it is useful Thanks.
