I am suffering from gas and sometimes (1 in a month) indigestion. Due to this I fart loud mostly at night only after dinner (time apx 9 pm onwards). I had stopped breads / fermented like idlly/uttapum/dosa. I try to have some bites every 3/4 hours. Its almost 2 years. So please look into this case and help.

U have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day for medicine contact on private chat.

Hello Lybrate user, Your problem could be because of the kind of a work lifestyle you are involved in. Stree related any issues? Are you invlived in continous sitting job related work, or at times suppression of natural urges because of kind of a work you are in? Drink plenty of liquids in any form like juices- soups-plain water- buttermilk etc. If possible start taking sunthi (dry ginger) + roasted jeera boiled water along with pudina and if possible take higwashtak churna 1 spoon mixed with honey during the meals.
