I am 61 years old retired. For the last 20 years I am under treatment for tinitus (year balance problem) on and off. The present doctor has prescribed diomox tab. Is there any permanent solution for the same. Kindly advise.

Hi. Going by your age, you might be having age related nerve weakness causing mild deafness and tinnitus. If you are having diabetes or hypertension then you might have tinnitus because of these conditions also. If tinnitus is because of above reasons then tinnitus is refractory to medical line of treatment.
