Mr. lybrate-user, If your blood glucose is 340 mg, it is very high. Needs to be brought down urgently. That can only be done by taking appropriate medications regularly plus taking restricted diet and regular exercise. Persistent high blood glucose leads to serious long term complications with multiple organs and systems in the body.
