Hello Doctor, I am suffering from Gastric problem since last 7-8 years. I have done Ayurveda, Homeopathic and Allopathic treatment but I am not getting cured from this disease. Now, I am on Allopathic treatment, because though it is not cured but getting some relief. While doing Ayurveda or Homeopathic treatment also I had to take Allopathic medicines. Because it gets worst, so to get immediate relief I had to take allopathic medicine. What I have experienced that here in Puri, Odisha, where I am leaving, I believe that I am not getting proper treatment of neither Ayurveda or Homeopathic. Further, I am also having Irritable Bowel Syndrome. So, please guide me what to do and what treatment should I follow. With kind regards,

You need to consult a psychiatrist with regular follow up and proper medication compliance. Medications such as SSRIs are usually beneficial in these cases. Alongwith you also need to maintain a good lifestyle consisting of adequate physical activity, abstinence from alcohol or smoking etc and a balanced high fibre diet.
