For past one week I have a pain in my left side of face, mainly around the jaw line, nearby left ear. For last two days I have got swelling also on left cheek. The pain is mainly in jaw line coz it hurts when I sneeze, eat rough food or try to open my mouth wide. I have done heat and cold packs on the area. I didn't have any injury or it is not any tooth ache. I don't knw what medicine should I take. Should I visit ENT specialist or general physician. Will the pain be cured by any painkillers and hot- cold packs. Please reply.
