I am suffering from fistula since last 18 years. When I was of 15 I got operated for same and seems to be cured. But from last 3 years it's appears again and effectively having two separate point leading pain and excrete from anus. please guide me, I am in a fear that it's not become cancer or else. Is it right to be operated once again. Your guidance highly anticipated.

Well, given the recurrence of symptoms, you will require consulting a surgeon specializing in ano-rectal surgery to help here fast, and pevent the situation from worsening any further. Simultaneously, a high fiber diet consisting of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables especially papaya, banana, apple, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, carrot, radish, tomato etc all are recommend on a daily basis to ease out emptying the bowels, and arrest any further injury. You may consider a natural laxative like 'isabgol husk' or 'lactulose solution' should you have hard stools/ constipation. Post your motion, you may sit for 5 to 10 minutes in a bowl of warm water to which a tsp of 'dettol' is added and mixed properly. Fatty, oily, greasy, high calorie, hot and spicy food stuffs are best avoided. Make sure to chew your food well and stay well hydrated (at least 2 litres of water on a daily basis).
