Change food habites to reduce weight. Avoid too oily, ghee prepretions, fast, spacy,junck, foods, over eating. Hi, The main thing here is to question why you are so overweight at only 22 years of age. Management of your problem depends on the cause found. Weight reduction should be gradual so that you do not increase weight by rebound once you reduce. Reduce by 0.5 to 1 kg every week. Problem 1) Do you over eat a lot? Do you eat lot of fatty food, junk food, sweets etc? Solution: Reduce your calorie intake to 1700-1800 cal/day. Cut down on sweets and other junk food. See a good dietician. Problem 2) Do you exercise? Solution: you need to exercise at least 45 min- 60 min everyday. Start slow and then gradually increase intensity of exercise. If you never exercised before see a cardiologist first to assess for fitness to exercise. Problem 3) Are you taking any medicines like steroids, anti psychotics etc? Solution: See a good specialist to see if you can be prescribed any alternatives. Solution 4) you may need further blood tests to make sure that you do not have hormonal imbalance.
