I am 21 years old. I am suffering from irregular periods since my mature. I have periods once in 3-4 months and whenever period comes blood flow is too heavy and it lasts for 10 -15 days. I tested for thyroid profile and it is normal. I even got scan of my abdomen and it is normal. My blood pressure is normal. Can you please suggest some medicines so that my period is regular and not overflow. Please suggest medicines so that I can have normal flow through out my period.

Hello Lybrate user As you mentioned about your problems related to your irregular periods I would like to advise you that it may be possible that your hb is low or have some harmonic imbalances due to that you have this problem. I would like to advise you to follow regular daily routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as yoga and exercise every day and morning walk every day before sunrises. You may use rich nourishment diets and fresh fruits - and fruits juices in your daily life. You should have a glass of warm milk boiled with ginger, haldi including ghee and nuts every day before going to bed and at breakfast. You have to avoid oily or junk food and sour products e.g. pickles etc . You should massage Bala Ashwagandh adi tailum ( oil ) over whole body then bath with warm water after 1/2 an hour.You may follow some Ayurveda medicines as given below. HEMTAB. ...1tab twice daily with water after break fast and dinner. HEMPUSPA. .. 10ml twice daily with water after meals. You should avoid the above mentioned medicines during menstrual periods.
