Cleaning of teeth is done by dentist in clinics by the use of intruments and machines. It should be done on regular basis since calculus accumulates on the teeth that can lead to thinning of teeth further leading to weakening of teeth and gums. Overall peridontial health is degraded. So you must go visit your nearby dentist and get them clean thereby. You can maintain a good oral hygiene yourself at home by brushing your teeth atleast twice daily (in the morning and before sleeping at night) and by the use of mouthwash.

For better looking teeth, the first and most important thing is that you teeth should be clean, and free from plaque (accumulated food debris) and stains. For that, you must get professional scaling/cleaning done from a dentist. The toothbrush cannot reach every surface of each teeth in the oral cavity.
