I'm having excruciating pain in the right side of my throat. Even swallowing my saliva is painful. It's difficult to have water too. Can you please let me know what it is. Never felt this type pain in my throat ever.

Hello lybrate-user. The pain you r having can be a tonsilar infection. U can open the mouth and see in the mirror if you can see some red swelling in the throat area inside, it'll confirm the diagnosis. Please consult your physician. In the meanwhile you can do warm water gargles and take Tab paracetamol for it.
