Doctor, Did hydroquinone is safe for skin? I was using skin lite for past two year. now if I stop using that my skin become dull very soon. I don't have any other option to maintain this color without using hydroquinone. please give some ideas.

Hello, skinlite cream is a strong pigmentation reducer cream and shouldn't be used without a dermatologist's prescription. It contains steroid, hydroquinone and tretinoin. Though initial effects with the cream are good but prolonged use may lead to thin dry skin with visible thread veins, acne, red irritated skin. So now you should gradually reduce its use and start applying aloe vera cream. Take care.
