For a 1 year old pug, you should get the deworming done once in every 3 months. Please remember to keep changing the deworming medicine to avoid development of resistance among the worms in the intestines of your pug. We get 2-3 deworming medicines in combinations these days which are much safer. Usually @ one tablet for a 10 kg dog. Vaccination for a 1 year old pug should be done as for any adult dog in india. I. E. Vaccination for rabies, parainfluenza virus, leptospirosis, distemper, adenovirus and parvo virus should be done annually. Except for rabies, all others come in combination as a one shot injection by many companies these days. Many places it is called either 7 in1 or 9 in1. No difference as these r names given by uneducated breeders. For rabies there is a separate sole injection form vaccine available. Both the type of injections should be/are given just under the skin. It is always safer to do deworming (in case it is due for more than 3 months) atleast 10 days before any vaccination to make sure your pug is completely healthy n strong for the vaccination. Please have a gap of 3 weeks between both the vaccinations. I usually prefer vaccines made by a reputed company like virbac. As their quality of r & d is more standaedized and transparent. Their are other optional vaccines namely canine corona virus and kennel cough vaccines. Optional because they usually are self limiting diseases and barely needs any treatment though. It is better to avoid them if your dog is completely indoor and healthy.
