Blood in my stools. Today I found blood in my stools. It happened in two bowel movements one in the morning and the other in the evening. Generally I never had this problem earlier. Generally I don't feel bowels completely empty after my first visit to bath room, but at the end of the day after one more bowel movement I feel free. I drink water in the morning every day ,and then do cardio on stationary bicycle. But my some times my meal timings are not regular, some times there is a 5-6 hour gap between meals .And 10-11 hour gap between dinner and breakfast. This happens because of my hectic work load of my software job. Is my problem serious? Please help.

hi. its not serious about your problem. it happens in summers coz we eat fast food and due to our hectic schedule it make our system out of order. take healthy and digestible things take raw vegies salads and fruits. regular drink milk and juice to soften your digestive system.

Blood in stool is commonly due to piles.You should get proctoscopy done to confirm the diagnosis.If it turn out to be piles then surgery is required to get permanent cure.Meanwhile you can apply shield ointment for local application daily.

Respected lybrate-user hi it may be fissure or piles. Don't worry or get stressed at first glance. Avoid all oily spicy nonveg stuffs at all have more liquids, fibers, fruits, curd for better digestion. Take sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with leuk warm water for 10-10 min mor & eve & additionally after passing stool. Thanks dear consult later after 1 week or earlier if more problem.
