Your pain seems to be from knee joint arthritis. Its a common condition which begins as ageing process starts. The extent of arthritis can be ascertained from the x ray investigation. You must start exercises for your knee muscles which will make your muscles strong so that they can take some of the load on your knee joints. Visit a physiotherapy centre ajd take 10 to 15 sittings. It should help.
