It's my 1st pregnancy I started my 6 month since 17 July I feel something in my tummy but can't recognize that are they really movements. Can you please tell me the movement types so that it get easy for me to understand as its my 1st time.

Hello, It's really good that you are going to deliver a child. Generally àt the beginning of 6th month female can perceive movements of foetus. Initially it's very slow and gradually at the end of 6 months it get increased. The movements of foetus is must .it's sign dat it's alive. There has to be at least 6-8 times movements in an hour. If it's not then immediately concerned your gynaecologist.

Initially it feels like flutter but as d baby grow movements r more distinct and can b felt by hands also. No of movements vary time to time as baby also sleep. You should count movement after having meals in relaxed position. Lying down in lateral position is d best. If there r 10 movements in two hrs it's adequate. If not check again after few hrs. If again its less than 10 in 2 hr after having meals in relaxed position visit your gynaecologist.
