My dad is 67 years old. He is diabetic which he keeps under control by taking regular medicines. These days he is facing a urination problem. Means he can not hold his urge to urine for long. It comes out drop by drop. Please advice what all test we should carry out? Thanks in advance!

Needing to urinate more than once during the night could indicate a temporary or longer term problem may be present. Mainly Causes Diabetes insipidus High blood glucose levels Autonomic neuropathy Urinary tract infections Cystitis Prostate diseases Pregnancy Excessive fluid intake - particularly alcohol or caffeine intake Taking diuretic medications Parkinson’s disease Multiple sclerosis SO i advice daily monitor sugar and some times bp check
