Sedentary lifestyle is the major cause of weight gain due to positive energy balance. 1. Exercise daily for 1 hr (brisk walk/ yoga) 2. Take stairs instead of lift 3. Walk instead of hiring transport 4. Do not sleep immediately after a meal. keep an hour gap 5. Take 15 mins light walk after main meals 6. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
