I had spondylitis. I went LS surgery and got 2 rods and 6 screw fixations on 16th march. After 3 months i.e on 16th june I played cricket and took 2 3 dives after that I felt localised pain on my back and is now facing problems on standing a little long, which I was not feeling after 20 days of my surgery i.e before playing cricket. On checkup it was found that there is a suspected fracture at level of S1 (where screw is fixed well) which is not clear and the grade which was fixed is now a little shifted anteriorly (still grade 1) spinal cord is normal and not pressed. I'm a medical student of 2nd year. My college doc's have asked me to take rest. But I wanna know why m feeling uncomfortable on standing.

there may be compression of spinal nerves causing you the dicomfort. And even if there is a suspected fracture you should take rest otherwise things can worsen.and I would advise you not to get engaged in any vigrous sports or activities for atleast 2 more months.
