Hello. Weight gain is due to unhealthy diet routine. Follow these steps to manage weight:- 1. Eat healthy diet which is rich in fiber. Prefer whole wheat food, brown bread or multigrain bread, ragi, oats. Include salad in your diet. Green salad is best for reducing weight. 2. Drink lots of water 2-3 litres daily. 3. Avoid full cream milk. Prefer skimmed milk and milk products because its less in fat. 4. For cooking use olive oil or canola oil. Its less in fat. Tell you maid to use less oil during cooking. 5. If you are non veg then prefer lean meat. Its less in fat. 6. Stop regular tea. Start green tea. Take 4-5 cups of this daily. Take it few mins after meal. It will help in reducing fat. 7. You can take lemon and honey in warm water at morning time. Or you can eat a slice of ginger and 5 leaves of mint with warm water. 8. If you can not go gym then try to do light exercises at home. You can do jumping, skipping, running, normal walk, brisk walk, aerobics. All these will maintain your weight. 9. Avoid fried and junk food. Avoid sweets and bakery products and soft drinks also. If you have desire for all these then take it only once a week. 10. Avoid mango, dark chocolate, cheeku, fried potatoes, cheese, butter, ghee, chips, cookies, high carbs. 11. Prefer green food more like cucumber, broccoli, lettuce, green tea, grapefruit juice etc.
