Dear lybrate user, your question is too short. My personal advice better to rule out root cause of constipation than only properly line of treatment so get better relive. I advice some basic life style changes. 1) avoid spicy, junk food at night. 2) skip late night awaking. 3) drink boiled water ship by ship after every 15-20 min in day. 4) avoi curd, salad, furmentrated & sprouted food in night. 5) take 1 cup of milk with 1tsp desi cow milk befor sleeping. 6) 10-12 black rasin socked whole night in water crush it in morning and drink it empty stomach.

first try diet therapy. write after a week if no improvement. drink lemon juice with a spoon of honey added to water every day on empty stomach. eat bananas and curd. eat a spoon of well ground flaxseed which are rich on good fats like omega 3.papaya helps some but not all. avoid foods which cause distension like beans , cane and cabbage , some other vegetables which are leafy but difficult to digest. drink lots of warm water on any form clear soups , green tea or just water. avoid too cold water and get used to water at temperature of matka. at 48 the muscles start getting saggy but we don't change our eating habits.
