Hello! diabetes n its symptoms can be well managed by a good diet chart. Take small meals in every 3-4 hr. Regular interval. Avoid sweet n sugar also honey n jaggery, fried foods, ready to eat foods, preserved foods n simple carb like maida. Take whole grain cereals in limitation, lot of veggies, 150-200gm fruit (not juice. Don't skip breakfast n take a small portion of milk or product or any whole grain cereal before bed time. Do 30 min of exercise a day.

Hello, regular welk everyday like, jogging, walking, cycling, running, yoga avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal,�rice, pastab) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, C) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot)e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink I) Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly.

Mr. Lybrate-user, the blood glucose levels mentioned look quite good. Pp should be down by another 20 mg, that would be ideal. What is your hba1c%? it should be3 <6.8 for very good control. Continue what you are doing today, also get your eyes checked to rule out retinal involvement. Take restricted diet and exercise regularly. Thanks.

As long as your sugar level is under control you don't have to worry. But since you are diabetic for ten years now at times test for kidney profile too. * along with medicines take healthy diet and do exercises or yoga asanas regularly.
