I am vegetarian and leads a simple healthy life which include daily 3 km walk but still there is increase in weight I weigh 70 kgs and want to loose at least 5 kgs. please suggest.

Reduce sweets, salt and bad fats but take a high protein diet like toned milk, curd, boiled eggs which are filling and one does not feel hungry for hours. A katori of nuts taken along with roasted chane help beat hunger pangs besides giving good proteins + healthy fats. Exercise more & do relax with yoga. Eat more raw seasonal fruits and vegetables & cut down every food causing distention e g. Pulses & sprouts.
