Low hemoglodin is medically called anaemia. Normocytic hypochromic defines it as due to iron deficiency. She must take apples and green leafy vegetables in her diet and also increase protein intake in form of meat and eggs. Kindly investigate the cause of anaemia whether it is due to poor diet, worms or heavy periods. Common causes and manage accordingly for a permenant cure.
