Hi doctor. I am 19 years old recently I am having some kind of mild pain at the ends of my eyes. It is not very frequent but since past few days I am experiencing it. I sit in front of the computer for a minimum of 6 hours daily and a very frequent mobile user. So am I experiencing this mild pain due to stress on my eyes or is it something else ? I can see everything clearly. Near things as well as distant and currently I am not wearing any spectacles as I don't have any eye number. Please suggest some ways to relieve this pain. Thank you :)

Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop.
