overweight or obesity/ looking fat mainly due to absence of physical activity. Other causes may be sleeping during the day, intake of kapha - increasing foods (heavy, sweet, cooling and unctuous food in excess). Over intake of food.
Heredity and pathology are rare causes.
Tips to reduce weight
1. No salt after 7: 30
2. No aerated drinks.
3. Restrict mango and banana
4. Restrict potato and rice.
5. No artificial juices as well.
6. Half an hour of aerobic exercise daily. If you want to join a gym good enough. 7.20 mins of breathing exercise. (pranayam)
8. Avoid rajmah, channa, peas, mushroom, gobi, pumpkin, leafy vegetables, capsicum, paneer, cheese, curd, non veg, maida related items (like bread, bun, pizza, burger etc), deep fried and spicy food, sweets, sugar, high carbohydrate fruits like apple, sapota, banana etc.
9. Avoid rice intake in the morning and night importantly.
10. Avoid morning intake of refrigerated food preparations done in the night.
11. Intake of food should be on time without skipping even a single meal.
12. Maintain min two hours of gap between dinner intake and sleep.
13. Consume min eight glasses of water in a day. 14. Should be early to bed and early to raise. Late night sleeping strictly to be avoided. 15. Have fruits only in the noon time.
