Dear lybrate-user bad breath is because of not maintaining your proper oral hygiene. Even if you brush twice daily and you haven't got your teeth cleaned professionally it won't help because the deposits on your teeth (calculus/ tartar) cannot be removed with normal brushing. Visit your dentist and get your teeth cleaned (scaling) and follow the oral hygiene instructions which the dentist gives you.
