Back pain in your situation is related to prolonged sitting and poor ergonomics at workplace. Observe the following lifestyle changes to avoid back pain. 1. Take over the counter available analgesics like Ibuprofen for 3 to 4 days to decrease pain. 2. Apply analgesic cream over back and warm water fomentation. 3. Take rest when back pain is severe but a void total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises once pain is decreased. 5.Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. 6. Do not bend and lift weights. 7. If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling , numbness or weakness, consult your doctor immediately Observe the following ergonomics at workplace : 1 Desk should have sufficient knee room so that one can sit close to the front of the desk. 2. The monitor should be placed at arms length 3. Desk should be at a height such that the wrists are maintained in a neutral position when using a computer with the shoulders relaxed. 4. The chair should be adjustable, padded to maintain the spine in a vertical or slightly reclined position. If the chair does not provide adequate low back support then a lumbar cushion should be used. 5. While seated on chair, the hips and knees should be on same level and feet should be flat on the floor. 6. Tk a soft pillow for back support and tk break between long sitting. Do stretching exercise of spine and legs and do hot fermentation and rest if it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy treatment.
