There are many reasons for cavity (dental caries) like. 1. Diet type 2. Regular and technique of tooth brushing 3. Genetic 4. Composition of saliva etc 5. Caries activity of mouth if cavity is very big and deep, if prognosis of that tooth is poor, thee dentist will recommend tooth removal if it can be saved, dentist will recommend root canal treatment or fillings.

wen dental hygiene is not maintained, dental probs come up. it is important to brush properly.Use proper brushing techniques with a fluridated toothpaste . Brush , floss n use mouthwash twice daily. Massage ur gums with ur finger tips after brushing. Keep ur tongue clean. Rinse ur mouth well after each meal. Visit ur dentist for dental checkups every 6 months to detect n prevent dental probs and also get scalling done once in a year. cavities can also appear due to inheritance of irregular patern of grooves n fissures on teeth.

only brushing twice is not sufficient. avoid sweet n sticky foods. limit your frequency of food intake to 4-5 times a day. use proper brushing technique. use mouthwash after brushing. gargle forcefully with water after you eat or drink anything. maintain proper oral hygiene.

Brushing two times doesnot stop cavitation in tooth totally. Rinse your mouth with water after food, try to avoid eating junk foods in daytime n before sleeping. Use mouth wash.
