I am 22 year old male. My parent both father and mother both have early age diabetes. I am always scared of getting diabetes. I have already completely stopped taking sugar in my body from last one year. I do running every alternate day in morning. My weight is 75 kg and height is 5.7 feet. What should I do to avoid diabetes in future.

Diabetes can be prevented or onset postponed by few years if few following measures are adopted. You ate overwight by 8-9 kg and need to reduce wight by cutting 500 calories from daily diet exercise for 45 minutes day reduce oil intake to less than 25 g per day cut down on saturated fats with these measures diabetes can be prevented.

You are rightly taking precautions. You may increase frequency of exercise to 5-6 days a week. Your weight is higher side so have check on it. Get periodically checked hba1c.
