HbA1c is a test used to know the actual control of blood sugar over a period of last 3 months, rather than diagnosing Diabetes Mellitus. Levels below 6.5 in patients on anti diabetic treatment are considered to be having satisfactory control. Your sugar level after meals in the 1st report is definitely high and suggestive of hyperglycaemia. In the 2nd report it is important to know the time interval between meals and sampling. If it is at 90 minutes of a full meal then it should be normal. Now choosing 1 of the 2 reports or relying solely on HbA1c is not simple. To decide about DM you can go fora GTT ( glucose tolerance test).
